Terrell's Airport

The Terrell Municipal Airport is a public access airport with services for commercial and private aviation. Aircraft operations, including local general aviation, transient general aviation, and air taxi, average 70 per day. The Airport Industrial Park is adjacent to the field.

Two asphalt runways (17/35 & 14/32), equipped with medium intensity runway edge lighting (MIRL), and end runway identifiers, are available for general aviation use. Precision approach path indicator landing system lights (PAPI) are installed for runway 17/35.

Asphalt taxiways are 30 feet wide. The 100' x 650' ramp area has tie-downs (no static grounds). No hangar space is currently available. The FBO provides ground support, including major and minor airframe and power plant repairs, for light single to medium twin aircraft. 100LL-Jet-A aviation fuel is available. There is no landing fee.

Terrell Aviation maintains a pilot lounge with supplies, crew car, snack and drink vending machines, ice, and coffee. Other services include flight instruction, aircraft rental and sales.

Several restaurants and motels are less than 1 mile from the airport. Car rental service is more than 1 mile away.
