Q. - I am having a real problem with handicapped parking.

 

There are parking spaces for the handicapped at all public places in Terrell. I am handicapped.

 

Every time I go to the laundromat, grocery stores, etc. there are cars parked in the spots marked handicapped that have no placard or license indicating the driver is handicapped.

 

This is becoming an enormous problem for me, especially at the laundromat behind the Beer Barn.

 

Please, can we find some resolution to this!

 

Answer - This is an unfortunate and unacceptable situation.

 

I forwarded the information to Terrell Police Department Chief Lay and I am certain he will instruct his officers to check on the handicapped parking places and take appropriate action.
