Q. - Recently I was traveling on CR 305. I was unaware that this road is impassable to all but the most hardy 4-wheel drive. The part that is impassable lies within the ETJ of the city. Its just a muddy swamp with no way to turn around. Something needs to be done.

 

Either: (1) close the road, (2) erect signs warning unaware motorists that the road is impassable, or (3) fix it.

 

I got stuck there and no wrecker in town would touch it. Thanks

Answer - You are correct that this is not within the City limits and therefore it is not maintained by the City of Terrell. This area you identified is located in Kaufman County Precinct 2.

 

The commissioner for that precinct is Ray Clark. His office number is at the Kaufman County Sub-Courthouse 200 E. Main Forney, Texas 75126. Phone: 972-564-4054
