Q. - Will the police officers ever get a new police department? They deserve it. The current police department is an embarrassment. It is dilapidated.

Answer - I don’t know of anyone who thinks that our police facility is adequate. In terms of new facility needs it is at the top of our list. Economic realities keep us from doing much in the way of new facilities.

 

Chief Lay and his department understand the economic realities and are making the best of their insufficient space for now.
