Q. - Are the companies that run the red light
program in Terrell licensed in all aspects by Texas law that you are
aware of?
I recently received a ticket, and found that I may
be due my money back.
I am not your average light runner. I do not make
a habit out of this, and I don't know that I have ever done this before.
I would like to contact this company and get their
licensing information. Can you get me their contact information?
Answer - Thank you for your question.
We are aware that due to a recent story in the Dallas Morning News
a question had been posed about licensing requirements for companies
administering red light camera programs.
Our research shows that the company administering our program is not
subject to a licensing Requirement. This information comes from the
Texas Department of Public Safety.
Terrell's red light program is compliant with state law, S.B. No. 1119.
