The City of Terrell invites bids for replacement of flooring throughout the Riter C. Hulsey Public Library except in the foyer. Carpet will be installed on the main floor of the library, in all offices and work areas, in the community room, projection room, public kitchen, and storage closet. A laminate surface will be installed in the staff lounge and bathroom. Linoleum will be installed in the public restrooms.

For the purposes of this bid, primary shelving is defined as double-sided shelving units of five and seven foot heights.

The bid quote should be broken down into four parts: Base Bid: installation of carpet around the primary shelving and installation of laminate in the staff lounge and bathroom, Option A: installation of carpet, including under the primary shelving, and installation of laminate in the staff lounge and bathroom, Option B: installation of linoleum in the public bathrooms, Option C: fulfillment of the Base Bid and/or Options B and C using alternate but equivalent materials.

Sealed BIDS addressed to the City Secretary, City of Terrell, 201 E. Nash Street, Terrell, Texas, 75160, for flooring at the Riter C. Hulsey Public Library, as described in the specifications, will be received until Friday, May 24, 2013, at 10:00 A.M., and then publicly opened and read aloud.
