SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

NOVEMBER 25, 2002

12:00 P.M.

A Special Meeting of the Terrell City Council was held on Monday, November 25, 2002 in the Council Chambers at Terrell City Hall at 12:00 P.M. with the following members present:

COUNCILMEMBER #1 FRANCES ANDERSON
COUNCILMEMBER #2 TOMMY SPENCER
COUNCILMEMBER #3 DEBRA KELLEY
COUNCILMEMBER #4 FLOYD TRAMMELL
COUNCILMEMBER #5 RICK CARMONA

1. Call to Order.

Mayor Frances Anderson called the meeting to order.

2. Discuss and Consider Request for Purchase of +/- 6 Acres in Metrocrest Industrial Park.

Assistant City Manager Torry L. Edwards presented to Council for discussion and consideration Request for Purchase of +/- 6 Acres in Metrocrest Industrial Park. Councilmember Rick Carmona abstained. Councilmember Floyd Trammell made the following motion:

"Madam Mayor:
In lieu of further discussion I move that we, the governing body of the City of Terrell, by the power and authority vested in us by the voters of this great city do hereby accept and endorse a contract between the Terrell Economic Develoment Corporation and Heritage Bank for the purchase of +/- 6 Acres Located within the Metrocrest Industrial Park at the price of $3.50 per square foot and do so without prejudice."

The motion was seconded by Councilmember Debra Kelley. Ayes - Frances Anderson, Tommy Spencer, Floyd Trammel and Debra Kelley. Nayes - none. Motion carried.

3. Hear Remarks from Visitors.

None were made

4. Adjourn.

There were no other matters discussed or acted on at this meeting. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
