SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

MAY 19, 1998

A special meeting of the Terrell City Council was held Tuesday, May 19, 1998 at 12:00 P.M. at Columbia Medical Center at 1551 Highway 34 South, with the following members present:

COUNCILMEMBER #1 HENRY MADGWICK
COUNCILMEMBER #2 TOMMY SPENCER
COUNCILMEMBER #3 FRANCES ANDERSON
COUNCILMEMBER #4 LEE SCHAEFFER
COUNCILMEMBER #5 JAMES HUFFMAN

1. CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Henry Madgwick called the meeting to order. Councilmember Lee Schaeffer gave the opening prayer.

2. DISCUSS TERRELL PUBLIC HOSPITAL CORPORATION/CITY COUNCIL ACTIVITIES

Ron Ensor with Hospital Administration discussed with the Council the possible acquisition of the Terrell facility. No decisions were made. City Manager Gordon Pierce discussed the Terrell Public Hospital Corporation. No decisions were made.

3. GENERAL DISCUSSION

There were no other matters discussed or acted on at this meeting. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
