SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

MAY 31, 2001

6:00 P.M.

A special meeting of the Terrell City Council was held on Thursday, May 31, 2001 in the Council Chambers at 201 East Nash Street, Terrell, Texas with the following members present:

COUNCILMEMBER #1 HENRY C. MADGWICK, SR.
COUNCILMEMBER #2 TOMMY SPENCER
COUNCILMEMBER #3 FRANCES ANDERSON
COUNCILMEMBER #4 LEE SCHAEFFER
COUNCILMEMBER #5 RICK CARMONA

1. CALL TO ORDER.

Mayor Henry C. Madgwick, Sr. called the meeting to order.

2. ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS WITH COMMITTEE OF PETITIONERS FOR TERRELL POLICE OFFICERS AND CONSIDER ACTION.

Council received a counter proposal from the Committee of Petitioners representing the Terrell Police Officers. No action was taken on this item.

3. SET NEXT MEETING DATE, TIME AND LOCATION, IF NECESSARY.

Next meeting date set for June 11, 2001 at 6:00 P.M. at Terrell City Hall.

4. ADJOURN

There were no other matters discussed or acted on at this meeting. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
