The City of Terrell is located in Kaufman County in the state of Texas. Terrell is approximately 25 miles east of Dallas on Interstate Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 80.  S.H. 34, S.H. 205 and F.M.148 provide north-south access.

KART – Kaufman Area Rural Transportation

 

Kaufman Area Rural Transportation (KART) is a “demand response” transportation service that provides Kaufman and Rockwall county citizens the freedom to get to jobs, go shopping, run errands, make medical appointments, or visit friends. KART provides Medicaid transportation to the citizens of Ellis, and Navarro counties. The KART handicap accessible buses provide public and Medicaid transportation services to all citizens regardless of age or physical condition. All KART drivers are certified by the Texas Department of Transportation, and are trained in first aid, CPR, and defensive driving.
