Kaufman County is now offering a new convenience station, operated by Black Jack Disposal, at 287 FM 429 N. in Terrell. The facility offers free plastic, paper, cardboard and aluminum recycling. In addition, residents can pay for the following services: disposal of household waste, brush, electronics, appliances and household hazardous waste.
Days of operation:
Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Black Jack Disposal  will be offering Clean Up events for the county  throughout the year.

Residents also can take advantage of two annual disposals per year at no charge at the Terrell Citizens Convenience Station on CR 319. Residents must obtain a free permit at City Hall, 201 E. Nash St. prior to disposal
