Robert Gentry, Fire Marshal
The Terrell Fire Marshal's Office is comprised of specially trained personnel which are responsible for enforcement of the fire and life safety code, investigation of complaints regarding hazardous conditions, fire safety education, plan review, abating unsafe structures, and determining cause and origin of fires within the City of Terrell. Criminal investigations into arson and the pursuit of prosecuting those involved is conducted by the Fire Marshals Office. The Fire Marshals Office assist other departments within the city including the Terrell Police Department, Code Enforcement, and Municipal Development.
Fire Marshal Gentry holds the rank of Battalion Chief in the Terrell fire Department, and has 20yrs of service to the citizens of Terrell. Gentry currently holds certifications as a Advanced Arson Investigator, Advanced Fire Investigator, Advanced Fire Inspector, Advanced Structure Firefighter, Basic Wildland Firefighter, Driver-Operator, Instructor, EMT-B, Swift Water Rescue Technician, and Basic Peace Officer.
