The City of Terrell has posted a Health and Safety Policy for all city facilities.
To limit spreading the virus, CDC recommends routine practices including:
- Regular hand washing with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds
- Cover your mouth with tissue when you cough or sneeze
- Clean and disinfect homes and work areas regularly
- Avoid touching your face
Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.
Symptoms may appear anywhere from 2 to 14 days after exposure, based on the previous testing of similar MERS-CoV viruses, and include:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
