The Terrell Chamber of Commerce and the City of Terrell co-sponsor four downtown events each year: the Terrell Taco Festival (the Saturday closest to Cinco de Mayo), The Terrell Mural Walk (the third Saturday in September) The British Bash (on the Saturday closest to Veterans Day) and The Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade and Holly Jolly Downtown Party (the second Saturday in December) These events are all family-friendly and include music, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors and much more!
The Chamber sponsors the largest fireworks display in Kaufman County every year on July 4th. Join us at Terrell Municipal Airport just after dark for the fireworks show!
Young and old alike can join us at the public pool in Ben Gill Park to beat the heat of summer. We have programs to help you keep in shape, learn to swim, or just enjoy your summer!
Terrell's Riter C. Hulsey Public Library provides programming for children ages zero to five and special event programming for ages six to seventeen. Presentations featuring both professional and amateur performers are presented throughout the year. Programs are free to attend and open to the public. For a current schedule of events join us on Facebook or call us at 972-551-6663. You may also visit us at www.HusleyPublicLibrary.org to find listings of more free services.
