The City of Terrell provides water, sewer, and garbage collection services for residents and commercial customers.
New utility customers are required to come to the Utility office located at City Hall to establish an account.
You will be asked to provide proper identification and to pay the necessary deposits. Residential service requires a deposit of $100 plus a $35 connection fee. Commercial accounts require a deposit of twice the estimated average bill for service. Contact the office for more information.
New Home Construction
If water or sewer service does not exist on the property, a permit must be issued through the Municipal Development Department. Any associated fees for water and sewer taps and installation of a meter are collected as part of the review and issuance of the permit.
New Commercial Construction
Installation of services is the responsibility of the contractor completing the work and will be reviewed and approved as part of the general contractor's permit issued.
