Shane LeCroy is the Fire Chief for the City of Terrell with over 36 years of experience in the Fire Service. He was born and raised in Terrell and became Terrell's Fire Chief in 2018 following his retirement from the University Park Fire Department with 31 years of service. Chief LeCroy holds numerous Texas Commission on Fire Protection certifications and is a graduate of the Texas Fire Chiefs Academy as well as being a Texas Department of State Health Services licensed Paramedic. His educational accomplishments include an Associates of Applied Fire Science degree from TVCC and a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management Administration from West Texas A&M.
