Police Officer

The City of Terrell is accepting applications for the position of entry-level police officer until May 17, 2018, to serve the community as a member of our team dedicated to the philosophy of building a better community. Our team engages in the fighting of crime, preserving the peace and enhancing the quality of life for the citizens we serve. Qualifications include high school diploma or in lieu of high school diploma, twelve (12) semester college hours required with GED; valid class C driver’s license; must meet all eligibility requirements as established by Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCLEOSE). Preference in hiring will be given to certified candidates.

Maintenance Worker

The City of Terrell is accepting applications for the position of maintenance worker in the water/sewer distribution department until May 4, 2018. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent; one (1) year labor experience; ability to read commercial and residential water meters; repair or replace waters meters; possession of Class “C” State of Texas Driver’s license or must obtain upon hire; ability to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.
