Clean Ups

The City of Terrell sponsors four (4) residential cleanup events each year.

During each one-day event, citizens can dispose of residential solid waste at the Terrell Citizens Convenience Station free of charge.  No commercial dumping allowed. Proof of residency is required in the form of a Texas Driver’s License or a current water bill. Contact the City of Terrell Service Center for more information (972-551-6614).

2020 Clean-up Schedule

Acceptable items:

  • Appliances (Freon® must be removed)
  • Automotive Batteries
  • Bulky Items (Furniture, etc.)
  • Oil Filters
  • Cement/Rock
  • Tires (Limit 4 total per residence)
  • Household trash
  • Brush (tree limbs, shrubs, etc.)

Non acceptable items:

  •  Chemicals
  •  Paint
  •  Pesticides
  •  All Commercial dumping
  •  Roofing shingles
  •  Construction Debris
  •  Cement/Rock
  •  Hazardous Materials
  •  ANY product labeled WARNING, CAUTION, POISONOUS, TOXIC,  FLAMMABLE, CORROSIVE, REACTIVE or EXPLOSIVE

Requirements:

  • Must live inside the city limits of Terrell
  • Must provide current water bill or drivers license
  • Must dispose of residential, solid waste; NO commercial dumping allowed

  • County Road 319/Flowers Lane (between North State HWY 34 & FM 429)
